Wellington 'L7775' was operated by 20OTU and based at RAF Lossiemouth. On 24th October 1940 it was on a night navigation exercise. At about 21:00 it crashed into Bruach Mhor on Beinn a' Bhuird when the pilot mistook the snow covered mountain for cloud. Five of the seven crew survived the crash.
